Description

Using Trello or a similar process visual tool, teams build strategies or processes online and share them.

Why we like it

This creative, collaborative process gets participants organizing and discussing strategies.

Process

1. If needed, show a finished strategy board from Trello or a board created using Miro’s templates. Here’s an example Trello board from a presentation program:

2. Put teams in breakout rooms with their task and instructions.
3. Teams create their shared strategy on Trello.  Facilitator can keep the activity basic by requiring surface-level overviews or require details for each step in the strategy.
4. Teams report back to the main room to explain their strategies.

Daisy chain options

a) Ask other teams to give feedback, ask questions, and/or find potential gaps in strategies.
b) Have teams follow up and update their strategies as long-term projects advance.

Variations

This activity can be run by individuals online or offline for sharing their personal strategies.
