You are at the Lounge at SFO Airport on your way to a client visit. As you walk in to the lounge, you come face to face with the CEO of ABC General Bank. The CEO recognizes you from a previous engagement with Visa and engages you in a short conversation.
Your objective in this conversation is to engage in a dialogue to better understand the client needs as well as to pique the CEO’s interest into a further discussion with Visa for more ongoing dialogue.
Client Background
ABC is one of the top 3 Visa Clients in the region (revenue basis) and has been actively seeking to transform its business to keep up against the threat from Fintechs. Their CEO is a member of the Senior Client Council and understands the value Visa brings to their business. In the recent past, Visa team partnered with the ABC to re-design their banking app and helped them integrate transaction controls with a Visa API – this effort was well-received internally at ABC as well as received favorable feedback from their customers.
