The chance encounter

You are a Visa Client Manager.

You are at the Emirates Business Lounge at Dubai Airport on your way to a client event in the region. While waiting for your flight announcement, you bump into your chair of the Levant Commercial Bank. You remember the chair from a previous Visa client forum. With a few minutes’ spare, you decide to have a chat.

Your objective in this conversation is build rapport with the chair and get a better understanding of what they are up to and how they are looking at their business these days, with the aim of potentially growing your partnership with the bank.

Client Background

Levant Commercial Bank is one of the top Visa Clients in the Levant (revenue basis). The chair is a member of the Senior Client Council and the bank in general has a good relationship with Visa. In the past, the Visa team partnered with LCB to re-design their banking app and helped LCB integrate transaction controls.

Currently with Visa they primarily use us for issuing cards and routing payment.

Your goal, again, is to learn more and explore more deeply what potential there might be for growing new solutions and opportunities.
